š§ THE CREATIVE PULSE
?ļøĀ āSound Connects Cultureā
š¬ TAKE
Thereās something electric about being surrounded by creators who believe in the power of sound. At Resonate Podcast Festival, weāre reminded that audio isnāt just technicalāitās cultural. Itās where heritage meets innovation. Denis and I are thrilled to be here in partnership with Focusrite and Adam Audio, sharing space with producers from across the globe who are telling stories that cross borders, languages, and generations. The air at RESONATE: Pangea feels charged with ideasāabout belonging, identity, and how we can make our work speak beyond algorithms. Whether itās a bilingual podcast or a 3D immersive mix, weāre all here chasing the same thing: connection.
šÆ WHY IT MATTERS
For creators and mission-driven brands, this festival is a reminder that your voiceāand how you shape itācan shift perspectives. Great sound design doesnāt just make content āpop.ā It builds empathy. It helps audiences feel the heartbeat of a story. When we explore beyond familiar formats and cultural boundaries, we donāt just grow as creatorsāwe grow as communicators. Thatās what this weekend is about.
š„ YOUR MOVE
Experiment with storytelling that amplifies culture. Record an interview in a new environment. Collaborate with someone whose creative rhythm is different from yours. Then listenādeeply. Thatās where your next great story lives.

š§āš³ The Taste of Storytelling at St. Eveās
šÆ WHAT WE DID
This season, 23dB Productions teamed up with St. Eveās Restaurant in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, to capture the soul of their culinary journey through a new series of short videos. We focused on their seasonal menus, behind-the-scenes kitchen moments, and Chef Stefanās creative process, giving viewers a seat at the table to experience the craft and care that goes into every dish. The goal? To help St. Eveās stay top of mind with their loyal patrons while attracting new customers through emotionally driven storytelling.
š° WHY IT MADE MONEY
Restaurants thrive on communityāand community thrives on connection. These videos gave St. Eveās fresh content to share across Instagram, Facebook, and their website, boosting engagement and foot traffic during key seasonal windows. By aligning each video with timely menu launches and special events, the campaign turned storytelling into sales, translating authenticity into revenue.
š¹ HOW WE SHOT/EDITED IT
We used a 1-camera setup to capture the energy of the kitchen and the artistry of plating, paired with natural light and warm tones to reflect the cozy, elevated atmosphere of St. Eveās. In post-production, we blended cinematic slow-motion, close-up food textures, and Stefanās personal voiceover to tie emotion and craft together in a single narrative.
š§ WHAT YOU CAN STEAL FROM THIS
Donāt just show your productāshow your passion. Whether you run a restaurant or a nonprofit, your audience connects with the why behind your work. Film the process, not just the result, and let the story of your dedication be your best marketing tool.
